According to the InsideSport newspaper agreement, the price was 65Cr for the duration of the previous 3 contracts with Muthoot. InsideSport tried to reach out to management from both CSK and the sponsor but could not make an official comment on the relationship. CSK sources told InsideSport that the deal will be officially announced soon.

Earlier, Muthoot, Aircel, an India-based mobile network operator headquartered in Mumbai, was the main sponsor of the three-time champion between 2007 and 2015.

Notably, Ecoda Auto India Pvt. Ltd. has been operating in India since November 2001 as one of the fastest-growing car manufacturers in Europe, a subsidiary of Kokoda Auto.

M.S. The Dhoni-led CSK team lifted the IPL title in 2010, 2011, and 2018 and got the best winning percentage among all the teams in the league. With the exception of the 2020 season, CSK is the only IPL team to qualify for the playoffs since 2006.
